Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its greatest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to avoid it.
The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep in areas that you don't would like. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop using your voice.
The design is also superior to the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that looks like toys rather than the loud and annoying robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will reduce your cleaning time.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in its place instead of scattering it across the floor. It even managed to take small gravel and sand, which most other robots can't. And it did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.
The j7+, while not as intelligent as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, is an option for those who want both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it can be difficult to tell if they are working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best choice. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home at the same time. These bots also come with many additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't fail to impress. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it doesn't have some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great choice if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save hundreds of dollars.
The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums fail. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little missing in corners and along walls.
Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can begin and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or change the labels of rooms.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is simple. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone but it can help you keep track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and functionality are among the best on the market however it's expensive.
It's a small base station that looks beautiful and can be hidden when not in use. The station's most appealing feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tried that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. auto vacuum 's not able navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either, and it doesn't have a dock that lets the user to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.
Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those seeking a great all-round robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price price.
However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine There are many other options available which include a variety of eufy models priced substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like stairs, a fully-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac g30
Eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set it up, simply connect one of the side brush and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be placed close to an outlet that has enough space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and can be tucked away under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.
The main feature that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It uses an integrated map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path. It can remember what it has already cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.
The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers similar battery life and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as often and comes with the boundaries that ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with bulky material such as cereal.
